Business Search Manager
A powerful WordPress search management platform with configurable indexing, deterministic ranking, behavioral relevance, autocomplete, search analytics, synonym intent buckets, curated results, and customizable front-end presentation.
Built around the workflow, not the workaround.
BSM Business Search Manager
Powerful WordPress Search. Built Around Your Business.
Your website has valuable content. Make it easier for visitors to find it.
BSM Business Search Manager gives you control over how your WordPress site discovers, indexes, ranks, and displays search results. From pages and posts to PDF documents and specialized content, BSM Search helps visitors get to the information they need without forcing your business into a one-size-fits-all search experience.
Search That Works the Way Your Website Works
Standard WordPress search does not always reflect which content matters most to your visitors. BSM Search gives you the tools to shape the experience: prioritize important content, connect related search terms, direct visitors to the right destination, and customize how results appear.
Whether your website supports a business, membership organization, educational institution, or content-rich publication, BSM Search helps turn search into a more useful path through your site.
Find More Than Pages and Posts
Give visitors access to the content that makes your website valuable. BSM Search supports WordPress pages and posts, with additional indexing options for media and PDF documents. Pro expands search capabilities for sites with specialized content and document libraries.
Search Inside PDF Documents
Make information within text-based PDFs discoverable—not just their filenames or titles. With Pro, BSM Search extracts document text and makes it available through your site's unified search results.
PDF extraction runs separately from the main WordPress index, with its own processing queue, document statuses, and diagnostic log. This helps administrators manage document indexing without requiring every PDF to be reparsed during a routine content-index rebuild.
PDF text extraction applies to documents containing extractable text. Scanned or image-only PDFs require OCR, which is not included.
Put Relevant Results First
Not every page should have the same priority. BSM Search gives you controls for weighting content, promoting important results, and shaping how visitors move from a search query to the right destination.
- Content weighting: Adjust the relative importance of searchable content.
- Pinned results: Promote selected content for relevant searches.
- Search redirects: Send visitors directly to a designated destination for specific queries.
- Synonyms and intent buckets: Connect related terms and guide searches toward relevant content.
- Behavioral relevance: Use search interactions to inform result relevance.
A Search Experience That Fits Your Site
Help visitors find what they need with autocomplete, configurable search forms, and customizable result displays. BSM Search gives site administrators control over the presentation of search without requiring visitors to learn a new interface.
For more specialized experiences, Pro adds customized rules that can hide matching results or group related results into expandable stacks—for example, presenting multiple related event or product URLs together rather than as repetitive individual listings.
Indexing You Can Manage
Keep your search content current with indexing controls, scheduled updates, and manual rebuild options. Select the content sources you want to include and manage PDF documents independently from image attachments.
For PDF text extraction, administrators can review processing status, inspect per-document diagnostics, and test individual documents. This makes it easier to identify documents that contain searchable text and investigate those that cannot be extracted.

Purpose-built for real operations.
Take control of WordPress search.
BSM Business Search Manager replaces basic WordPress search with a configurable search platform designed for organizations where finding the right content matters.
Choose exactly which post types and content are searchable, control their ranking, create synonym and intent groups, pin important content, analyze what visitors search for, and allow BSM to improve relevance based on actual user engagement.
BSM uses its own optimized search index while giving administrators direct control over business priorities. Content ranking can combine textual relevance, administrator-defined weighting, curated results, and behavioral signals without allowing automated learning to override explicit editorial decisions.
The result is faster, more relevant, and more manageable WordPress search—without requiring an external hosted search service.
